How to stop ghosting yourself
The busyness of life means it's easy to stop communicating with the person who matters most: you. So what can we do about it?
Hello friends and TGIF (thank God it’s February). My pal Helen told me this week that she felt as though January had gone by in a flash and I looked at her as though she’d just announced that she was engaged to Timothee Chalamet.
Possibly, it dragged because I’d been anticipating this week. I’ve had a few solo days at home, something I’d imagined would be an opportunity to embrace goblin mode, be selfish and do exactly what I wanted.
Except: what is that? Now it’s here, I don’t actually know. Light a scented candle? Put on a facemask? Do those things women are told will help them ‘unwind’ and ‘recharge’ and which usually cost the earth? When it came to it, I actually wasn’t sure what I needed or wanted at all.
